Most probably it will be the usa, years ago i would say that costa rica would dominate the group they are in but times have changed and noone saw panama losin to salvador so you never know, the only constant is the usa since it hasnt lost at home in quite a while.

USA? People - have you looked at the game schedule? We open on the road our first two games.

CONCACAF WCQ semis 2006 USA road games (quite frankly a better USA team against a better group):

Panama 1-1 (90th minute Cobi Jones saves our butt)
Jamaica 1-1 (88th minute Ching saves our butts)
USA 2 El Salvador 0

3 games, a fortunate 5 out of 9 possible points.

CONCACAF WCQ semis 2002 USA road games (thank god for Barbados):

Guatemala 1-1
Costa Rica 2 USA 1
USA 4, Barbados 0 (as of minute 63 it was 0-0 and we were out of the WC)

3 games, 4 out of 9 possible points.

The USA will not even win our group.

I believe the points winner will be Honduras, once again down to scheduling. The Mexicans will be effectively through after game 4 (all three home games completed at that point) and Honduras will play the Mexicans at home in game #6 when it will be meaningless. Honduras will drop only the road game against Mexico, and win the rest for 15 points.

I should mention that it is not out of the question that Costa Rica will get all 18 points, but I believe the Ticos will lose interest and not do a clean sweep, that is why I voted for 'other' (Honduras).
