After all the trouble the club went through this summer to sign Sakiri, he's gone and become one of the most vilified men among England supporters after the incident at the Macedonia-England qualifier. He allegedly gave a death threat to Beckham as well.

Albion were looking for a creative midfielder and Sakiri is certainly that. But Sakiri has set himself up as a big target of abuse at every ground the Baggies visit. The question is, will the abuse drive him to do better, or make the whole team worse?

I imagine Megson will use it to ours and Artim's advantage.
The atmosphere against Ipswich should be tasty. Sakiri, Santos & AJ, nicking Gaardsoe off them.
Joe Lovejoy (Sunday Times):
"...the splendid Artim Sakiri of West Bromwich Albion"
"Sakiri, whose use of the ball was exemplary..."
Jonathan Northcroft (Sunday Times):
"England's other tormentor, WBA's Artim Sakiri, is a player the Home Office initially tried to stop from playing in England because it was felt he did not have the abilities to make an impact on English football. His movement, subtlety and pace were superior to anything offered by England's midfield for long periods."
James Lawton (the Independent):
"Sakiri..on Saturday night was by some distance the outstanding creative force in the game".
Paul Heyward (Daily Telegraph)
"The gifted and demonic (!) Sakiri"

Oh yeah, I forgot Santos was now with Town. Isn't it amazing that all of the 'guilty parties' from the Battle of Bramall Lane are still involved in professional football? Santos, Suffo (Cov), Curle and of course that big pr!ck Warnock are still receiving pay cheques from various clubs.

Good to know that some of the papers have complimentary words for Artim. :)

It's apparent reading a number of the England/West Mids papers and other Albion boards that two things have happened since Sakiri's returned to the Baggies...
1) Most Albion fans (not all, but the vast majority) support Sakiri.
2) Most opposition fans are giving him stick.
As long as Artim knows that West Brom fans are generally behind him, it's probably good that other fans are trying to intimidate him. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?
