A great Euro this one. Thanks to Spain, Turkey, Russia and The Netherlands for providing some of the moments I'll remember forever.

Congradulations Spain... Europe finally has a champion that deserves it.

It's too bad to see this Euro over but I'll be glad to finally not have to hear that cr@p music anymore. :p

I hope you mean that Samba De Janiero crap that is played when goals are scored. I actually love that Seven Nation Army crowd chant

Entertaining Tournament. Glad to see Spain win - deservedly at that. Even their fans always had the optimism (thinking of v. Italy and tonight).

What happen to all the Spanish fans that thought Aragones was an idiot?

And I'm really proud of Rosetti, the italian referee... he was great.

Huh? He was average at best.

Andy Gray on ABC: "The Germans lost because they simply didn't do enough."

I have to agree. They spent the whole tournament doing just barely enough but they couldn't find a higher level when they needed it.

This tournament was generally a victory for attacking football. Those teams that played flowing football generally won while the teams that relied on defense or a stolid style of play usually didn't.

Germany hasn't been a defense first type of team for a good number of years.

This is 2008, not 1990.

very subjective. Victory for attacking football would be more accurate.

No it's not subjective it's very accurate.

Fantastic scenes, even though I'm not a supporter it's good to see a deserving winner after the past couple of Tournaments with either crap sides or very defensive sides winning.

Ballack is out of control.

Agreed, I thought Ballack should have been booked earlier for his challenges and antics.

Huh? He was average at best.

Rosseti almost had the game get away from him in the first half. He was good, I think both teams committed fouls that were worthy of cautions earlier. The head butt should have been a caution against the Spaniard. Can't recall who the player was.

anyone in boston who wants to complain for them cutting to weather TWICE (I live in boston - no rain here!) - at the 85th minute and second before they hoisted the trophy please let them know what you think. it's a shame how they ruined such a fine game
