France?
You mean the red card against Italy ?

By the way, what you are saying right now is BIG BS. :o

i read enough on this read... i am out here...
France gets the benefit of the doubt a lot of the time and in some cases get complete gifts same with Italy and Germany

Your leaving because Germany is losing and your a sore loser. Should they equalize you'll be back.

What a horrible mistake by Lehmann on the goal. WTF was he thinking?

He was thinking, "What shit defending by Lahm, I'd better get my ass out there even though I should have never had to move!"

Sorry Dad! So no referees make mistakes?

I was talking about something totally different from a wrong foul call or spot kick decision or anything of the sort. Why did you generalize my statement, as to mean that?

absolutely. Lahm was more at fault there. He was never going for the ball as you can see from the replays

This isn't really different from prominent players often getting the benefit of the doubt... Ballack's goal against Portugal shouldn't have counted, but IMO he disguised the foul sufficiently and got off because he's Michael Ballack.

I didn't really get a good look at the incident that resulted in yellow cards for Ballack and Casillas, so what happened? And it looked like Puyol shoved Marchena, too....

and not because the ref could have missed it. this is sheer stupidity, claiming such incidents to be the result of bias

Still Torres had a lot to do, Lahm was at fault more but Lehman should have made torres beat him rather than give him the easy option.

Lahm off Jansen on. Not sure how smart that is...

Oh, I'm with you there that people are fashioning all sorts of conspiracy theories from minor incidents. That's why I said that Ballack did a really good job of disguising the foul and the reasonable conclusion is that the referee just didn't see the foul.

Halftime substitution for the Gerrmans, Jansen on for Lahm.

I'm not sure what Loew's thinking with that one.

exactly. Ballack is a pastmaster when it comes to playing dirty but being subtle at it.

Lahm has been brutally bad, he is just giving someone else a chance to screw it up.

Don't agree one bit. Lehmann should have been watching Lahm clear the ball away from Torres. Lahm just allowed Torres to kick his ass on that play.

Lehmann only reacted once he realized Lahm was going to be beaten. Lehmann had to stay back to be an option for Lahm to pass to.

But that never happened because Torres kicked Lahm's ass on that play.

Lahm probably got injured.

German TV says Lahm is injured. His ass probably hurts from Torres kicking it so badly.
