Does that mean Wayne Rooney is world class in your opinion then?

I'm just saying that it's not solely based on goals. Anyway, he's scored so you should be convinced now, according to your criteria:o

What a horrible mistake by Lehmann on the goal. WTF was he thinking?

I think Lahm was more at fault

Anyone who doesn't think Torres is a world class player is crazy.

Wow...the Spanish game being played against the Spanish. How very unfair!

I was referring to Ballacks blatant push on Ferreira that went uncalled.

And this "game" seems to always favor Germany/Italy/France and work against Portugal/Spain/Netherlands

I could have scored that what was Lehman thinking.

I never said he wasn't world class. Anyone who scores against Everton IS world class! Including Chris Eagles.

After seeing the replay, I agree. Lahm was awful there.

Yep - Lehmann had to make an instant decision when Torres got the edge on his defender. It didn't work out well, but if he'd managed to get a piece of the ball we could say that he'd likely saved a goal with his aggressiveness.

I'll disregard the goal to debate with you...:p

In his group stage games he had nothing to do, how could he have gained any higher rating? Against Russia he was an 8.

There's a reason the Russians kept attacking along the left in their first game against Spain

And I remember seeing a rating of 6.5 for him somewhere. Look, it's obvious that neither of us cares enough to compile a record of poor defending or underutilization in this tournament, so let's just drop it... deal?
