I'm just curious as to what everyone did to fill the void left this weekend by Euro 2004 qualifying. Did you watch the national team matches or did you do something else?

I coached my niece's U-9 team. Let's just say that girls under 9 can't quite accomplish what I'd like them to.
I knew I was in trouble when I yelled for the defensemen to "push up" and they all took 3 stepd forward...even though the ball was in play in the opponents penalty area.
They also had questions as to what I meant when I said "cross it", "mark that man", and "Which of you plays midfield?"

I watched the Macedonia-England game at a Brit pub and wandered the street aimlessly waiting for league play to resume.
Srossen, do you need a DVD that has England's region in it to see it?

Watched a little of France v. Cyprus, in which the excellent Sylvain Wiltord scored twice.
Watched the Broncos and the unimpressive Jake Plummer beat the hapless Bengals.

Worked Saturday and missed the friendlies, listened to the Bengals get dominated on the offensive and defensive line against the Broncos :(

Watched England beat Macedonia at football
Watched England hammer France at rugby
Watched England stomp South Africa to the edge of defeat at cricket
A good weekend all round really.

Well, England has certainly a better side than France. Even if France can win a particuliar match against England, English side have, actually, more firepower, cohesion, defense and even ... flair. Really impressive team.

However, despite the result, this was scary. Your weekend might have been "good all round" if you had NOT seen that game.
My 2 cents.

Watched DC United kick LA Galaxy's ass. ;) Although that was Sat. evening and I suppose I could've done something more productive during the day.

Watched Michigan thrash Houston.
Watched Matt Dlugolecki nearly pick off the Buckeyes
Played a bit.
Watched the Revs crumple against SJ.
Oh, and had a birthday party for our daughter with ten four year olds (far more exhausting than playing).
