haha i know this is a bad example for children, but come on, we are adults and even thought we have to be very profesional this is the first things that comes to my mind when it comes to somebody i dislike.

why doesnt wynalda gets his own soccer show in the radio or goltv or something? crap ill pay to hear wynalda talking crap all day long :cool:

I have always been a big Wynalda fan. He is unashamedly, a flag waving, Red, White and Blue bleeding, announcer. He believes in American soccer and will tell that to anybody that will listen and even if they won't. I would like to hear from Eric. What has become of him?

he works for espn as a journalist i guess, but i think is prob the most hated dude out there. i will find out whats up with him, he probably lives in LA too.

i remember watchin him playing, he a warrior, and then when he came back from germany, he had all this awesome stories of how he had to prove himself to get the german fans trust.

he is not one of the those pu... donovan, he is got balls.

I haven't read anything of his for a while. He would be a great fit with Gol TV. Gol TV isn't afraid of a little controversy and they have the best talk show. I think he would be fun to listen to on American Soccer.

does wynalda speak spanish? i will love to see him next to Kempes and Fernando Palomo. idk but there is something cool about commentating the game next to a salvadorean and a argentino world champion ;)

You know I think I read some where that he does speak more than one language, but I think it might have been German. I think Wynalda would be great with his own phone in talk show like on Fox Soccer Channel. I am a Gol TV subscriber through Dish Network. I think I will send them an E-mail Let's see if we can't put Eric back to work.

I thought it was the other way around. I heard Harkes was fooling around with one of the other national team members wife and got held out of a world cup because of internal strife. I could be dead wrong about that though. It wouldn't suprise me if Wynalda knocks boots when the opportunity presents itself.

What I´ll always remember him for was that infamous qualifier in the late 1990s where the nads were showered with batteries and piss in the Ricardo Saprissa. After scoring, Wynalda went to the statue of a Costa Rican hero and spit on it. Maybe he was too naive to realize what those thousands of hooligans could have done if they had broken through the fence and gotten on the field. Lalas(with blood on his face) stood up in front of an American flag and put his hand on his heart after the game. Both took alot of guts.
