Looks like el Burrito isn't happy with Simeone and wants out of River.
Personally I think it's best if Ortega is the one that leaves and decides to get some help once and for all.Ortga's attitude is not healthy for the team and makes el Cholo look bad.I totally understand what Simeone is doing and support his way of thinking and working.
It's a shame that this has to be like this but if Ortega doesn't want to corporate there's no other way to end his stay in River. It's a dam shame.:(

Yeah I agree with Leo in this one. Even though he played an important role in River's champpionship and is an idol of the club, he still has to remember the TEAM comes first. We all want him to overcome his addiction and showing up late to practice or even missing it causes distractions to the club.

That was before, and it's been left in the past. He's not going anywhere: he's staying with River.

El cuerpo técnico separó al Burrito Ortega del plantel luego del faltazo al entrenamiento y el escándalo en la estación de servicio. "Parece un cuento de no acabar", declaró el protesorero, Héctor Cavallero.

After this most recent incident, I'm not so sure anymore. It's sad. He needs some serious help.:(

Yeah.. maybe they should accept that offer from the Arab team: good money for him, good money for River... he's not going to be in the team either way, so why not?
Maybe we should go after Gracian to take over his place. :D I always thought he was a good player, and Boca are trying to get rid of him. Soooo....
In a more serious tone, I think we should hand over the role of "enganche" to Buonanotte. I can't think of a better candidate at the moment. Sambueza has been said to be doing very well in the training sessions since he returned (in the friendly he played against Gimnasia (LP) he scored two goals and made one assist), so maybe he can play on the left side while Buonanotte covers the middle.

Come to think of it, it could be the perfect opportunity for Robert Flores.

Ortega no jugará más en River. Se lo confirmaron los dirigentes del club, en una charla que tuvieron con él. Y, aunque prometieron respetarle el contrato, el jugador se buscará otro club.

It seems that Ortega is heading to UAE now, River will let him go after all.

Now now, Devilman, let's not start insulting each other's players. We all know Ortega has an addiction to alcohol. You don't have to rub it in.

As much as I don't like the guy since he's a River player, it's a shame with what's going on with him. Hopefully he can battle back from his addiction and someday come out on top. I can't believe he is close to ending up at Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza
