I am a central mid.

Leave number 10 for a striker or playmaker Pele, Maradona, Baggio, Ronaldo.

I would Love to be any of those numbers but they are all taken by the players that are already on the team.

The numbers that are being used right now are: 1,2,5,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,17,18,and 21.

Personally I take what shirt the manager gives to me, but if you’ve got the choice of those numbers here are some players you might want to look to:

#4 – Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Owen Hargreaves (Manchester United), Claude Makelele (Chelsea), Patrick Vieira (France), Steven Gerrard (England)

#6 – Lassana Diarra (Portsmouth)

#16 – Mathieu Flamini (Milan), Roy Keane (former Manchester United), Michael Carrick (Manchester United)

#19 – Gilberto Silva (Arsenal)

#20 – Javier Mascherano (Liverpool)

You're right, but the number gives an extra boost of confidence to preform a certain way. It gives a boost to be like your hero.

On the field during indoor I wore 11 just like Podolski, Klose, and Drogba. It boosted my confidence and I ended up being the leading goalscorer in the league.

I would say 11 for one of my favorites Dragan Dzajic but it's taken. That is always my first choice. But if everything you want is taken then pick 99. lol
