now that the search for a new manager is endid thought that we might as well concentrate on which players ince might bring in. any rumours people have post here please.

It all depends who goes out, I guess. I mean, if Bentley and Pederson leave, for example, we'd probably go looking from a couple of wingers.

I'd like to see Bullard, but that's unlikely. We're probably going to go with a youngster to take a chance with, or an old man from the big four.

Yeah Bullard would be quality, one of the most underrated players in the league.

I haven't got a clue about transfers yet though. There have been a few names mentioned, like Crouch, but those have been from the same sort of people who thought we should have got Scolari as manager.;)

Crouch would be tasty. That would be great. I'd like to get more quality defenders. Ooijer played well in the Euros considering how crap I think he's been for us. Samba doesn't look as good as I'd previously thought.

Let's face it. We've got old players we need to get rid of, and we've got younger players we need to get in the first team more. A bit of strength in depth wouldn't go amiss either.

Fair play to him. If we get him maybe we can arrange a private room for them at the training ground and Ewood, so he stays around a while.

Still not heard any credible rumours though. Bradley still being mentioned but that's just guessing.

We should start a Get Bullard facebook campaign.

not a rumor, just a guess.... Ince was a midfielder, I expect him to build his team from the middle. My guess is that at first he'll sort our Roque and Bentley and then deal with the middle of the pitch, so competition for Peds (hopefully light a fire under him) and someone to bolster the sicknote duo of Dunn/Reid and a right back. That would leave:

At the back:
Zurab/Samba/Nelsen/Ooijer in the middle Warnock/Olssen on the left, New guy and Emo on the right.

Midfield:
Peds and new guy on the left, Toogs/Vogel/Dun/Reid/Newguy int eh middle, bents/Emo on the right

I'm happy with Derbs/Roque/Benni/Roberts up front

Who's going to back up Brad?? Will Ince look to bring in someone with more experience or will he stick with the likes of Brown or Neilsen?

Brad is an excellent keeper, and he hardly ever needs to miss a match, so his position would not be foremost in Incey's mind.

I too am happy with our options up front. It's in defence and midfield where we need to make changes.

I'm willing to give Reid some "injury free" time to get back on track. He was really stepping into his own before the knee issues.

There's rumours that Ince wants to bring Joey Barton in on a loan deal. Didn't we spend the last few years trying to lose the "thugs" tag?

in the mirror today it said bentley for lennon swap to spurs plus £8 million. to me that is a very good deal and i would snap their hands of at it.

I'd rather just buy Lennon for fifteen million. I know Bentley wants to go, but if he's sees us bringing quality in, maybe he'll think twice.

That doesn't mean we should mollycuddle the players. No player is bigger than the club. But maybe if Bents sees progress and improvement being made around him, he might consider staying for it.

Are you guys going to resign or try and fight for Chris Samba. IMO one of the best defenders in the prem. Would not mind at all if he came to Spurs but Im sure we would pay through the eye socket.

Also is Ghaly leaving? Please tell me he is.

Also I know this may be shot down in a heart beat but do you think the club would be interested in Dave Kitson. Spurs enthusiast, tall, smart. He would be perfect for a 4th striker and he would come at a decent price. I understand that we are looking for much more quality players but he would be happy as that 4th guy and I think he could give us a goal here and there.
