Fulltime

Russia 0:3 Spain
0:1 - Xavi 50'
0:2 - Güiza 73'
0:3 - Silva 82'

BOOKINGS:
56' Zhirkov (foul on Sergio Ramos)

Spain unbeaten now in their last 21 internationals (18 wins, 3 draws).
For coach Luis Aragonés, this marks his 37th victory in charge of Spain and it now places him on top of the list ahead of Javier Clememnte as the coach with the most victories with the national team.

I guess that 4-1 win wasn't such a fluke afterall.

It was a far easier game in the group stage. It took three absolutely top class build ups to create the goals for the Spanish. They had been pushed to their limits to make those goals. Whereas in the first game it seemed all too easy for Villa.

I just hope Spain doesn't face Germany all shy and already beaten, like the Portuguese did.

Playing like we did in the second half, I think we have a great shot at beating the Germans.

Ramos or, my choice, Cesc

Sergio Ramos beat it out of them.:D

I mean seriously, werent the russians promised a million euros if they would win the final? Hell I would run for my life and kill for this amount of extra bonus! :D

I'd also like to remind you, be it that my mother is from Northern Ireland. If Spain DO win the Euro I will claim the trophy for Northern Ireland thanks to the 3-2 victory over Spain. :D

My vote is for Sergio Ramos, didn't let anything pass him and the Russians couldn't impose their height advantage. Senna also solid then again he's been the whole tournament.

And you'd have got battered by the Spanish. Wow sounds weird saying that, normally I only say battered when referring to War! :p

Spain owns Russia.

I will finally find out if Spain is the soccer power it is made out to be on Sunday.

lol, for me it isnt so easy. We can look back in our family history pretty much several hundred years.. and all the way it is krauts,krauts,krauts.. if we loose I have no way to excuse myself. I will stand in the rain and cry like a baby.

Iniesta. His link-up work with Cesc in particular was sublime.

The Germans are more skillful on the ball than the Russians and can hold the ball for long stretches. However defensively they can be carved up by the Spaniards. Should be an interesting match.

If we loose like 0-3 I will blame it on the headwind

Why do ESPN announcers mock soccer, other languages and cultures? it makes me cringe and embarrasses me as an American to hear them at times.
