statististics
shots on goal : Turkey 11/19 , Germany 3/11
3 shots 3 goals
but that s not important
UEFA sucks...
why?
1) Giving host to countries where there is no soccer (Switzerland, Austria, pot 1 teams were they resulting in a group of DEATH, and they are first eleminated teams after first 2 matches)
2) Assigning Swiss Busacco to this match, as if not knowing the tension between Turkey and Switzerland
3) TV Broadcast, just proves my point, they are not experienced, they have a small village league, what were u expecting?

Germany will probably get crushed in the finals, they are notorious finals chokers. Spain 82, Mexico 86, Korea/Japan 02. Sweden 92, Yugos 76, England 66
Switzerland 54, Belgium 72, W. Germany 74, Italy 80, Italy 90, England 96
50/50 chance. ;)

Switzerland '54, Belgium '72, Germany '74, Italy '80, Italy '90, England '96?
They've won more finals than they've lost.

Turkey is usually great to watch.
If the final is a Germany-Spain match, it may be the usual dull proceedings.
I don't know, the Germans have nothing going for them right now, and they don't have the defensive capabilities of Italy. Spain could very well eat them alive.

stop objecting about pictures lost on the tv. get over it, it was only for 5-6 minutes.
Maybe only in Germany?
According to German TV worldwide TV feed went through Vienna. A UEFA stipulation. Only Swiss TV had their only feed.
When the Vienna feed went down German TV then used a satellite to broadcast the Swiss Feed. Coupled with the German reporter using a telephone to comment.
Seems they were just faster to just grab any signal still broadcasting.
Not even slightly. I'm only blaming them for not having their announcers on-site. Had they been in the stadium, we could have at least had oral PBP during the blackouts.
Not necessarily, given that at least England apparently lost the TV commentary as well, and had to use radio commentary over the feed for a while.

Dont be mean, you enjoyed a better match than most of the quarter finals. You might consider turkey to have been the better team but at least admit it was worth watching!

Atleast they gave their viewers some way of knowing what was happening.

The point is that even with announcers in the stadium they still might have lost everything.

Good game. Turks had a heck of a tournament especially after most of the supposed 'experts' projected them getting no more then 1 point in the group round. I guess I'll root for Germany now that my team is gone.
I just hope all the people calling the Turkish side 'high school' 'B-Team' etc will stop (even though they wont) How many good games do they have to play to make people take them seriously.
Good vibes to the people sending Turkey respect...

And Puyols, Ramos, Casillas, Spain's defense is rather awesome.

Also, to all, on another note, I wonder if the replay ESPN Classic has been showing (and even in the middle of the night, like 3 Eastern Time) will have the full game??
Turkish mistakes and fatigue cost them the game, Germany weren't the dominating force they should have been. Well played Turkey, congrat germany.
Why is there no 3rd place game?

That was a close one. German and Turkey fans have to be happy as Turkey really did all but win this game and they have acquitted themselves spectacularly regardless of the outcome, and Germany gets to find glory in the final.

It would be a joke if they replay the interruptions in the broadcast LOL.
