But Italy was playing SPAIN! Germany has no reason to play this way, unless...OVERRATED!

Schweinsteiger's dive there was pretty bad, but nice goal! I'm still not sure why Volkan got 2 games for a red and Schweinsteiger got one. Ah well..

Well, they did make a fatal mistake that let the Germans score. Underrated, maybe by many but I knew this Turkey had heart and the rest follows.

Really? I don't remember seeing that. From what I remember, he was pretty "calm" when talking to the referee .. like he knew he did something stupid but was trying to justify it.

I don't want to say I told you so, but I knew what Ugur was going to do with his fantasticly fast dribble...on pace with Ronaldo on speed. Turkiye had not shown their best game so far in the tournsmnet now we see a display of that. More to come on second half with technical passing upsetting the Germans. Expect more fauls.

Seriously, though, they do have subs that are healthy and aren't goalkeepers.

Mevlut Erding and Gokdeniz Karadeniz are both available and I expect that they probably will be used at some point.

actually, i think it was more like the ref was walking away and volkan grabbed his shoulder to spin him around to talk to him, then backed the ref up several paces. not a huge deal i guess, but enough to get the 2 game ban.

Exactly. Turkey are very good. They gave England a lot of trouble, back in the days of Hasan Sas and the Turkish Dean Windass - Hakan Sukur.
