I hope someone cockpunches adidas for that one fugly kit that keeps popping up all over the place. The one with the faux shrug and zipper-looking thing. Absolutely terrible.

It would be hard to screw up a classic jersey like Milan's

I actually like that burgundy jersey. So far that template has looked ugly for everyone (except for those two Chelsea alternates, if they're even real). I like that watermark design on the front. I agree that Adidas needs to reamp the design department though.

i don't know. but, one can safely assume that since adidas changes all national team jerseys every even year, then the cycle will start over again in 2010.

Depends on one thing, if they make the World Cup. If they do; well then it would make Economical sense to shelf out the money to intake more from both fans and bandwagoners. In a sense this happens a lot when teams switch kit manufacturers and they make the World Cup that brand will give them a new kit for the spectacle even if they are only a year with them. A la about 3 teams with Puma.

Adidas new run for 2010 will include Russia weather they make the WC or not. Whenever a team transitions to a new kit supplier they immediately get a new kit for that year if it happens to be during a turnover year (for Euro's/WC) then they just jump into the mix. In Russia's case they are in between Tourneys and need something temporary (they can't still be wearing a Nike kit now can they?)

but cant they stick with 3/4 sleeve kits? i understand they cannot be wearing Nike kits now, but that does not mean they can change so fast. maybe change the Away first then in 2010, change the Home.

the red around the badge is cool, the collar is fine, the red on the sleeve is ok (albeit I don't like the shape of it) but the star on the sleeve instead of the front and the silver/grey stuff just suck.

It looks like a cheapo Tesco 2-stripe knock-off training shirt from the late 90s.

It may be the worst kit I've seen in about 5 years.

the current away is much worse.
