Who's going to be watching the draft on fri/sat? I know I will!

I will be watching to see who the Leafs pick they do have a higher pick in recent years. I was watching sportsnet last night and I guess they are very keen on the Danish kid Boerkon (sp?) who played for the Kitchener Rangers.

Also have local guy I know who is in the draft but his situation is odd because he was already drafted by the Ducks last season but he is going back in the draft since he wasn't able to reach a contract agreement.

Also a couple of players from the local Junior team Screaming Eagles who are ranked in the draft as well.

The Toronto Maple Leafs added some toughness Thursday, acquiring right wing Jamal Mayers (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/bio/?id=655) from the St. Louis Blues for a third-round pick in this weekend's draft.

Jamal Mayers was a player we were after like two years ago at the trade deadline right?

I also read McCabe wants us to buy out his contract since he doesn't want to wavier his no-movement clause.

The Draft is on at the same time as the Canada-Vincy WCQ tonight.

Leafs traded up to the 5th overall pick with the Islanders and ended up by taking Luke Schenn from the Kelona Rockets.

Pretty excitred because I really liked what I saw from him in the World Jr's

I'm not sure but they might be streaming it on tsn's website and I think it starts at 10:00 am.
