Wow, thought the Russians were going to have to play down a man. However, after the ref consulted with his assistant, he reversed the call.
That, to me, is an indication of a good ref.

Nevermind...no foul there. Replay showed it.
Good call by the referee.

Dude, I was at Russia-Sweden. The Russian babes in Innsbruck were SMOKIN'! :D
I was at Sweden-England in Cologne. The Swedish babes there weren't too shabby either. :D

Kolodin gets 2nd yellow card, he's off!
NEVERMIND! It's taken back!
It was important that he got it right.
Full credit to the ref.

Mother Russia was close, very close. I hope they can finish this off in E.T.

Not sure that the ball was actually out, but it wasn't a yellow card offence anyway.

Good to see the ref consult the linseman to make the right call. Would of been horrible to see Russia play a man down. That is a good ref.
Lets see a good 30 minutes. Anyone thinks this goes to penalites???

Me too... They have outplayed the Dutch flat out. Their defense looks poor though.

Sigh, the card was withdrawn because the linesman said the ball had been out of play, which the replay showed it was not. The Russian did not deserve the yellow card but he would have gotten it if the linesman had not made the incorrect call.
And still you guys support the referee while he almost screwed up again and withdrew the card for the incorrect reason.

From what German TV said, the linesman called the ball out before the play finished. There was definitely a foul.

The ref has been totally biased, 3 times Ruud handles the ball and no call, Pavlyuchenko does it once innocuously and he gets called leading to the equaliser. Not to mention totally missing Ruud's elbow.

Yes, a little shaky. But, hey, there are no perfect teams. Go Russia!

Russia kind of got screwed, the free kick that the Netherlands got their goal off of was bs, it was handed to them

I def think he's doing a great job. Whether he first incorrectly called is irrelevant. It's his end call that mattered. He consulted his linesman and made the right decision. What else do you want?
And no offense, but why are you so hung up on the damn ref? He's been fine, let's talk about the match, not the damn ref all day long.

The Russian counter attacks could have been more vicious but they slacked off.

I think Holland have a distinct advantage if this baby goes into extra time. Put in Robben!!
Unfortunately for the Netherlands, they can't, no more subs, and apparently Robben is hurt. I was surprised he didn't play until someone posted that here.
