It's now Turkey's tournament to lose!

If Netherlands were Turkey, they'd score two right now, one after the other.

That goal by Arshavin got a tad lucky touch, but he deserved it. The kid is gonna be a star. Great game by Russia!!!

I can't wait for tomorrow's game. That should be a great one.

This is one of the best European tournaments I've ever seen.

This was very surprising, not just because they won, but because of the way that they did. Yesterday's game was a surprise, however, Turkey was outplayed for most of the match and Croatia did not show the level of play that Holland did in group play. Russia absolutely outplayed, what i consider, the team with the best performance in group play ever in a Euro.

Hiddink is a ********ing genius and if they can keep this up, they can win the whole thing.

What a cracking good player that young man is!

He's only young compared to Milan. He turned 27 last month.

This is one of the best European tournaments I've ever seen.
EURO 2000 is regarded by many to be the best EURO.
Mexico 86 is my all-time favorite international tournament since I've been following the sport.
But this one is certainly gaining ground with four more matches to play.

Arshavin was in the Zenit side that won the UEFA Cup. He's been with them since 2000. Good game to him.

I don't think the overall quality is as high as 2000, but it's been more dramatic and enjoyable.

Agree, the man is a genius. He got unlucky with the dutch, lost a few tournaments on penalties in the later stages, but he took Korea to the semis in 02 of the World Cup, and took the Ozzies to the round of 16! Why couldnt the US of at least attempted to get him?

Congratulations Mother Russia!

I always had a "feeling" they would peel those oranges today. Great display of football, great tactics, great skill, great attitude. Best of luck for the rest of the tournament! You deserve it.
