The deflection took it in - looked like he'd pulled it otherwise. Still, a deserved goal though. The Dutch defence went to sleep at the throw in.

You guys need to watch Lavezzi for Napoli. He's the next Maradona. Arshavin has been really awesome today, though.

I gave Russia no chance in this game. I applaud them - wonderful game. In my opinion, they just beat the best team in the tournament before this game.

Arshavin makes them tick though. They're not nearly as impressive without him.

Hiddink is simply a genious and I really like the twist that he is sending his home country home :D

They shouldn't have been tired... they rested players in their match vs Romania. Not an excuse - they were outplayed.
Definitely not an excuse, merely an observation. Van Basten used his three subs quite early in the game.
I'm still surprised though, because during group stage, Russia regularly ran out of steam after 60 minutes. I guess they rose to the occasion.
