Do you know what the best thing about soccer/football is?

No offseason. None what so ever. A few weeks off but thats about it. Me, being such a soccer fanatic I love it. We have our national tournaments. We have interational tournaments like champions league, libertadores, etc... We also have copa america, euro cup, gold cup etc... I can go on and on. There is never an off season. We don't have to wait 4, 5, or 6 months for the season to begin. As much as I love american sports I hate waiting almost half a year for another season to begin. You can add this to the list as to why soccer is a million times better than any other sport world wide.

I'm American and root for an MLS team (MLS is currently in season), but I still feel like there is somewhat of a break from the end of Euro 2008 next week until the EPL starts, the CONCACAF Champions' League starts, the Olympics, and World Cup qualifying resumes, which all happen in August. The break, however, is much shorter than the offseason in each of the four major professional sports in the United States.
