Portugal is wearing white right?

Indeed. My favorite player has been Podolskinho!:D

What a mountain to climb for Portugal in just 27 minutes...

I still think this game has 2 or 3 more goals in it.

Let's all calm down here, there is a long way to go.

As a neutral (I think I dislike Portugal a bit more than Germany though ;) ) I'm hoping for a goal-fest! 8-0 or 5-3 I don't care! :D

Ronaldo has been awful so far.

Almost invisible. Without a target man he has to get more involved and start creating, or this one will be over by halftime. Portugal's defense shows no signs of being capable of holding Germany the rest of the way.

I agree but Germany is not a team I want to be 2 goals down to.

Germany is more efficient upfront and that proves to be vital...I said that high balls is deadly against us...

Portugal seems to be a little hesitant when it comes kicking the damn ball...kinda frustrating...

This game was TOO predictable, and I'm glad I made the right prediction.

Portugal FINALLY play a full team, and see what happens when you rest your players? It backfires almost 50% of the time. Never stop.

If Germany scores a third Scolari is taking out the Portugese to English dictionary.

The two contenders could easily be the two most overrated in this competition. And Cristiano Ronaldo, as always, fails at the important matches.

Portugal scores. 2 - 1.

Does anyone else think that looks like an own goal?

Finally Gomes shows he is a striker.

Ronaldo comes alive at last, but a bit lucky the ball fell to Gomes.

2-1 Germany taking it a little too easy now
