I just don't know about this game. I know Germany CAN do it, but they've shown nothing in this tourney that makes me feel they will.
Everyone loves to point to Germany's past and say they can be crap, but still rise up to win a tourney.
I agree, but why does everyone seem to conveniently forget what happened the last time Germany and Portugal met at the European Championship Tournament?!

Not only was that game an embarrassing result for Germany, but Portugal was playing its 'B' team. I have guarded optimism tonight. I know we are capable of winning, but I just don't feel that it is likely.
Unfortunately Loew decided not to use the 4-2-3-1 that we had all hoped for and is instead sticking to the 4-4-2.

Nice job dominating the midfield by Germany, but they haven't really ventured forward yet. Looking much better than I expected, though...

What a ball by Deco, right to Simao's toe.

That's a disgraceful acting job Metzelder (sp).
Hopefully he didn't lose his eye during that traumatic little touch to the face.
It's embarrassing. Transfer fees for players keep going up, but so do their stupid antics. Can't handle a little touch. Acting like babies.
And it's not even one team. It's players from every team!
Anyways, back the the game :D .

Can't blame him, he's been playing in Spain for a year now.

Great chance for Moutinho.
Portugese are too quick for the German defenders. Height vs Pace.

Portugese with less possesion are showing way better use of tactics.
