Spain last defeated Italy in an offical competition at the 1920 Olympics in Amberes Belgium 2-0 with Pichichi and Zamora playing and that is where they got their name "La Furia Roja" after winning the silver medal.

Spain have to keep their shit together, Italy will try to spoil them as in an open attacking game spain > Italy, Spain have been scoring late goals which goes well for them.
imho with certain Italians out, only a poor spain performance will let the Italians go through

Go Spain! I don't want to face Italy again, though facing a Spanish team that has just beaten Italy wouldn't be much, if any, easier...
My best guess is that losing Pirlo + Gattuso is too much for the Azzurri...and I don't believe in curses, only in players that unfortunately buy into them.
Rumor has it Casillas is a vampire.
