Spain should stop whining so much.

Silva's shot would have had to be perfect to beat Buffon there. Almost.

Subpar Wolves players from the early 80s are millionaires? I suppose when you can't win anything, money is the only consolation.
IIRC that's what it says above the entrance to Anfield.

Extra time has been better than the 90 minutes already.

Really? I think this has been a great match.
but you also thought that Luca Toni didn't dive, although he wasn't touched and role around like being shot, and that Buffon made a great safe, when in reality he nearly f#cked up. :p

I'm hoping for a 70 W Germany-Italy kinda deal.

If Fandel didn't let the italians get away with all that **** inside the box in the first half, there would have been at least one goal for Spain, which would have opened the game up.
Agree, but you must admit that after a good entertaining match people tend to bitch less about the refs.

Why the hell is Donadoni waiting for his last sub?

Toni was fouled. And Buffon made a great save on the initial shot, and was quite lucky his own rebound hit the post. And this is a great game.

If you have a rooting interest (or in my case an anti-rooting interest), you have to love this intensity. A great game, I'm not so sure...

Its only a great game if you like Italy because you know the rabbit is coming out of the hat sooner or later.
Its been dire for the rest of us.

I wish I knew what was Aragones was thinking when he took Torres out...

Fabregas was obviously offside there, but was anyone else worried by the fact that the assistant referee was even with Fabregas and not the second to last defender?
