Man, what a pointless stoppage of play by Fandel.
What a horrible match he has officiated.

The anti-Italian sentiments are getting embarrassing. Torres went down about 4 or 5 times untouched without a replay or comment, and then they microanalzye every single Italian move, disgraceful.

Andy Gray needs to retire...
what about the handball...he could of got a red card
Yeah. He denied himself an obvious goal scoring opportunity.

By this point, he's called it badly in both directions
Argeed. Horribly inconsitant, though his "calls" have favored Italy more than Spain.

yeah rolling around in his millions
Subpar Wolves players from the early 80s are millionaires? I suppose when you can't win anything, money is the only consolation.

If Fandel didn't let the italians get away with all that **** inside the box in the first half, there would have been at least one goal for Spain, which would have opened the game up.

On the payroll. Here he is getting attacked by a fan ... no doubt because of his ************ calls

This wasn't his fault in the slightest. He was alerted to an incident by his assistant referee. A Danish player punched a Swede in the gut in the penalty area. He called the penalty and showed the red (quite rightly in both cases) and a drunk as hell Denmark fan ran onto the pitch and tried to go after him. Per UEFA rules, the match was subsequently abandoned and I think Sweden was awarded a 3-0 win.
