Not really. Anyone who follows European football knows they are one of the strongest teams.
That might be going a bit far there. Croatia are not in the same class as Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Holland, Portugal or even England for that matter. Croatia haven't actually made it out of the group stages of a major tournament in the last ten years. However, I do agree with what you're saying... Croatia are a respected team - Greece were, with the exception of Latvia - probably considered the weakest team in Euro 2004 before it all began. Croatia are dark horses who will exceed expectations by reaching the last four - Greece came from completely out of nowhere.

Yes, that's what I mean. Croatia may not be a Tier 1 team, but they are at the top of Tier 2.
Greece barely makes it to Tier 3.
Petric best player at this point.
