I see quite a few Croatia fans thinking this is going to be a cake walk for them. In fact, in between the compliments paid to Turkiye, you could see the undermining attitude of the Croat players, also. And , I like that!
We welcome them to the wolves' den...no way out. Fight to the end. And what a fight and a great match it will be. You will se the color the Turks (players and spectators) bring to European soccer.

And now, it is time for the Turks to play well from the start and not fall behind for a change and that is exactly what we are going to see. If they score the first goal early, watch out Croatia and the world cause you will see many more following.

Technically, I see the two teams even. The Turks have lost seven players between the injuries and the cards, but believe me there is more talent yet on the sideline. I expect Karadeniz to make an impact and we have not even used our left full back/wing Ugur, yet. Watch him play and dribble thru their right side with incredible speed and set up those balls. He is another talent close to Arda's level. Terim kept him as a secret weapon.

Heart and fightwise, the Turks have the upper hand. predict 3-1 Turkiye.;)

Quite the opposite, even the English weren't so underestimating of us as Turkish coach and players are. And I like that!

Croatia are rather slow on the ground in defence and DM, the Kovac brothers turn like oil tankers, while Turkey have a lot of mobility up front with Nihat and Arda.

I think Croatia will win it, another 3-2 scoreline, but it will be entertaining and close all the way through.

Heart and fightwise, the Turks have the upper hand.
And why? Do you think the croatian team doesn't care? Turks always think only their team can fight and plays with heart.

now you know why I dislike the turks lol without english holiday makers their country would be even poorer then it is, I mean lets face it they should be playing with syria and iraq and co. It's just our good graces that allow them to play here in True Europe:cool:

Ya, Croatia thrashed a great Austria side with a great penalty and destroyed the Germans (who lost to "way past it czech rep" 0-3 in Munich and finished 2nd best in that qualifying group) and unbelievably beat the super power Poland, if they don't beat the Turkey by at least 3 then Bilic may lose his job...

You at least should learn some history. Poland have been a better side in the last 30 years. They have 2 3rd place finishes in the WC. In 1974, they should have won it, but were screwed by a semi with Germany on a water-logged pitch. The game should never have been played.

Actually Turkey is more in Asia then in Europe. I dont want to insult anyone, but what is the big problem?

In case some of you hadn't noticed this is a game thread relating to Croatia and Turkey - OT comments around England, Lord of the Rings or chicken tikka masala are not for this thread.
