I've noticed a lack of familiar names on the boards as of late. Where's dwinkler and Senor Askew? If you guys are out there, say something. Dan, if you need cherry cokes, let me know, and Senor, how was/is Mexico?

Rein mais le Treble!

OPArsenal All right, I'll say something: what does that sig line mean? Is it French for "Nothing but the treble?" If it is, then I must gently inform you that it's "Rien," not "Rein".

As far as the "unfamiliar" names around here, I think it's great (not saying you don't). I'm glad to see so many more Arsenal fans making their presence known around here - there have been some great discussions around here the past few months.

two words: international week.

Just not much to say. I will regale you all with a story though.

I'm playing online poker rigth now (yeah, I'm that much of a loser). See a guy from the UK, so I say, "Where are you from?" He says London, so I say, "Who do you support?" He says, "Man U of course."

Hey, you wanto support ManU, fine with me. But it's that "of course" at the end that really fries me. As if it would be ridiculous for him to support any other team and it was equally ridiculous for me to even ask. It's that kind of attitude that makes me want to give Man U fans a swift kick in the nuts.

Thanks for the spelling correction. I needed that. I, very much like you, think that it is a great and wonderful thing that there are more and more unfamiliar names, and I don't doubt the fact that there have been some great discussions. I was overjoyed when I got back from my 2 month hiatus to see all these new(er) posters/ArseAmer's (whichever label applies to you) and then immediately notice a strange lack of "Favorite Player" and "What's that on (Insert Name Here's) Kit?" threads. :)) I feel unfortunate to have missed these great discussions, but I started this thread to find out if some of the guys that welcomed me with open arms (back in the days when my 3rd post was a ManU board troll) were still alive and well. It's great to have to learn new names, don't get me wrong, Dan.

Rien mais le Treble!

Heh-heh. "Swift kick in the nuts"

Let's just hope that Arsenal gives every manUre fan a virtual "swift kick in the nuts" here in a week or so. Lordy I love reading the manUre board after an Arsenal loss.....

Mexico?

I will admit that these first two weeks to the semester have been negotiated in a moderate haze (three guesses as to which kind), but I didn't think that it had been quite that bad!!

I spent time in Alaska and Florida this past summer but not Mexico. I wish I had, would have been fun.

Seriously though.

three words: Graduation in December --

I'm so busy and have been for the entire summer I just don't have the time to spend on big soccer that I used to. I didn't get those 6000+ posts just by talking Arsenal you know, a warning to all that it's best to stay away from the FFA forum if you at all value your life and like the sunshine. ;)

But I digress. With some incredibly involved capstone courses plus 120+ hours of lab work that I need to do in the next three months it'll be an interesting three months. I'll still try to pop in here as often as possible though.

And of course the final reason SA hasn't been nearly such a presence as he once was, say it with me gents: Women. Birds. Babes. Chicas. Fraus. Whatever the translation of their name it breaks down to time consuming. :D
