While we're at it, lets also show some respect to Ribéry. He was one of the best for the French this tournament, and its sad to see him leave like that.

Indeed. Great player. I feel awful for him. Quick recovery!

I'm not sure why Van Basten is getting credit, I don't think he could have put in a weaker side. Unless he played himself :D

But that weak side showed up and wanted to win. Which they did. MvB could have told them to take it easy and just take a stroll on the field, but he didn't.

Btw, all this talk about A & B teams always make me cringe a little. Every player on the roster, the coaching staff, medical staff and ever single person that has something to do with your NT is the one & only team.

True. But your "B" team was better than most!:D

While most Dutch people are very negative about the performance of the Dutch team last night, it seems that a lot of people from other countries would be very happy to have the Dutch 'B' team as their main squad...

Must be nice to call a side that has Robben, Van Persie, and Huntelaar weak...

No, can you people please stop accusing me of that, of the 4 big clubs in Holland Feyenoord is my least favorite. Heck I like Huntelaar, he is from a village only 2 miles from here, but his performance tonight was not so good, he just lacks the experience to play at this level.

He's got a long way to go before he's in Ruud's category. Most overhyped Dutch footballer of his generation - overhyped abroad mind, not in the Netherlands itself.

Since you seem to know him well Johan (I have not gotten to see him play enough) what do you think about his future?

That's why Hunter should come to Napoli where he can develop a little bit more without the pressure.
