Any of you guys planning on making the trip to Chicago? our group was well received from The SJ Supporters, When we went to Oakland. It was great to have a few beers with you guys.

Midway airport is close to Toyota Park, there are hotels next to midway and is 10 minute ride from airport. Ohare is about 45-1:00 drive.

I was really giving it some thought after you guys came out. And thought I would look up an old buddy of mine Dan Perry, then found out the tragic news. Now I am not feeling so good about the trip.

Nope. No way. Can't speak for the Casbah, but when 19U06 shows, we show in force. Some people may come out by themselves but not me unfortunately. Maybe someday our FO will get together and decide that we can have some sort of wholesale airfare and then we'll come out to Chicago.

Thanks for the invite man! It was a good time having you guys in Oakland and next year at Buckshaw you guys are welcome there as well.

Unfortunately this is only our first year together and we're still growing, etc... At this point we wouldn't be able to make it up cause like SKO said, we'd want to show up with good numbers. Maybe next year though! I'm dying to get over to Chicago!

This is a great offer- it was nice seeing you folks out at Oakland
We will have to plan to make a trip perhaps next year - I'm busy as s--t on the 28th so it's a no for me, but thank you for thinking of us... Fire fans have always been well received in San Jose

Thank you for the invitation, glad you guys (and gals) had a good time at the game. There are no official plans, but I'll pass on the info you posted and see if there is any interest.

ChicagoFire23,

I was one of the two San Jose fans hanging out with you at the tailgate on Saturday night (yes, Quakes fans, we did have representation at the game Sat night - there were 5 of us total that I saw, and that included Shea's girlfriend!).

Thanks a ton for your hospitality, as well as that of all of the Fire fans we met that night, both on the bus from the Globe and inside the Globe post-game, at the tailgate and at the game! It was great to meet all of you and I'm looking forward to seeing you again sometime soon!

I do have a great picture of you "mugging" my friend for Peter Wilt's benefit - I'll have to send that to you... I'll see if I can send it via PM - otherwise, send me your email address and I'll get it to you.

Best,
Stu

What do you think of oyur new signing from England?

Not exactly the right forum, but we're all very excited. Only time will tell if he's a great signing, but he couldn't possibly be worse than what we've got.
