Will ibrahimovic play?
Will Russia attack like crazy?
Will Lagerback play for a tie?
Should be good.

Will Lagerback play for a tie?
I'm sure he'd like to win, but we all know he'll be as cautious as always and the defense always comes first.
Do we know if Ibrahimovic is playing yet?

I really hope Russia make it, I really like the way they play, they're just tough and honest. In their last game there was a couple of times if the Russian player had gone to ground he'd have gotten a penalty but he stayed on his feet and got nothing. I just hope that doesn't become their downfall.

If Hiddink can get this injury-hit Russian side into the quarter finals of the European cup, it will be another confirmation of his greatness.
Mind you, with the award of a victory being a match with the rampant Dutch - I reckon both teams actually try and LOSE!
:p

I understand Arshavin is back from suspension and will play his first game. Big plus for Russia.

Holland should be hoping for a Russian win, because they'll score like 5 goals on that defense.

Sweden is no doubt the more defensive solid and clever playing team and they should be able to beat Russia, but I think neither Russia or Sweden stand much chance of getting a result against the Dutch.. I think the Netherlands and Croatia are going to reach the final...

I'm rooting for the Netherlands all the way so I guess I'm rooting Russia. which i guess means I'm also rooting Swedes. Russia can't advance with a tie right?

Sweden advances with a win or tie. (due to better goal difference)
Russia advances with a win.

That would have been the goal of the tournament.

Good game so far, Sweden making some saves against a Hiddink influenced Russia.
With the current result there could be a Netherlands vs. Russia (+ Hiddink) quater-final.

Now it's Sweden putting down the pressure.

I'm rooting for Henke's Swedes ... but have to confess that Russia's half-time lead is absolutely deserved, since they were the clearly better team!
With the current result there could be a Netherlands vs. Russia (+ Hiddink) quater-final.
Would be really interesting...;)
A remake of the EC 2004 quarter final as well, though.
Sweden is a fighting team with good strikers, so I expect them to come back after the interval.

Now THIS is a bad performance.
It should be interesting now because Sweden can't attack and Russia can't defend.

Give Italy payback for 2004
Wow, a bitter Italian! ;)
Was it Sweden's fault that you couldn't beat them in 2004?
