I mean if you have watched Les bleus play for some years now, it's obvious that our real problem, a lot more than our defense, is our forwards.
How come it takes them like six or seven chances to score one little goal ?
It's quite frustrating cause even against Holland (expcept maybe the first 25 minutes) we haven't been outplayed.
This doesn't bode well against Italy cause at least they can score (if the ref doesn't call it oof that is).

Not reassuring at all.
I don't understand why everyone is so concentrated on our defense when it's obviously our attack that's the real weak link.
Even the first goal was a mistake by Malouda. Someone ought to tell him it's the ball that counts, not the player. What a mistake.

Also, the more we miss chances, the more we put pressure on our defense and give our opponents confidence.
At 1-0 Van Basten made two attack oriented changes. No wonder, he knew we are poor upfront and have been for a long time now. He took a chance.

france isn't historically known for great strikers.

they's two parts to it, the coaches stratergy doesn't work well with strikers (e.g playing a defensive game and having players play out of the positions) and strikers that aren't good imo, henry is shadow of his former-self, benzema still learning, anelka same as henry, gomis WTF, govou meh.

those not in the tournament: cisse, Trez, Saha,ludovic giuly, pirez

they's no telling if the situation would be the same had we called these players, but gomis doesn't derserve to be there.

Well i can tell you it'd be the same with Cissé. That much is true.
The real shame in your list is Pires. When you see what he did in Spain this year, it's quite incredible he's not in the list.
After all, those rumours between him and Domenech's wife might be true then.
