View Full Version : World Tour Soccer vs. FIFA

Which is the better game? FIFA has ALL the liscened teams (World Tour Soccer calls Arsenal "Highbury" which is somewhat annoying) and all the players. Plus, it doesn't make mistakes like players that are white being black and vice versa on the game like WTS does. And it doesn't have that annoying retro music that replays itself OVER AND OVER AND OVER again that has absolutely nothing to do with football at all. But, WTS is better if you are a newbie. It's easy to get into and the controls are great. Graphics on both games are relatively decent. So what do you think?

Its not about Licensing. Licensing has nothing to do with how the game plays. If it feels like real football then its the better game. No matter if the White Players are RED and the Black players are Green.

I assume World Tour Soccer is the game known in other regions as Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Soccer, right??
If so, it wipes the floor with Fifa as a game. There's no comparison, and if you can get hold of the update disc, it corrects all of the names and stuff.

No, WTS is not the same game as Winning Eleven. But it is still better than fifa. I think it has a very good season mode, and its a has better gameplay. I also think that the edit feature is great in WTS. BTW, im not trying to compare it to Winning eleven, just FIFA, as i havent gotten a chance yet to play Winning 11 yet.

I've never heard of this game. What formats is it on and who develops/publishes it?

It's avaliable for PS2 only, and is made by Team Soho. It's a very solid game IMHO, but as was mentioned above, has extremely annoying music.

world tour soccer is this is football in europe. its better than fifa.
all of that doesnt matter tho, because minus a couple of small problems winning eleven 7 is almost a perfect simulation. it is incredible actually.
