Anyone else sick to death of hearing how they play football the right way and are an attacking side?

Im sorry but they hardly walked away with the title last year and didnt set any records in the points or goals scored department. There is a lot of arrogance coming from the WBA side, (see comments made by Tony Mowbray and Jonathan Greening) and it could end up with egg on their face.

I know exactly what it feels like to be in WBA fans shoes at this stage of the season but:

Gera has left them for Fulham
WBA have made poor signings thus far, (rich coming from a Sunderland fan I know)
Whenever a team hasnt dominated the championship, without massive investment they tend to go down.

We spent £38m last season but stayed up by three points.

WBA have spent 3.5m on Moore who couldnt do it at Villa so how he will get the goals in a poorer side I dont know. We spent 5m on Chopra, however Chopra scored more goals in the championship than any of WBA strikers.

WBA are giving it big licks, whether they deliver will be another story

They do play exciting football in the Championship but whether they play that way in the Premiership is another matter.
I think they will struggle as they wont score as many goals and their defence will get exposed at this level.

We scored seven at the Hawthorns in two games last season.

Watch 'em let in five quite soon into the season, lose confidence and crumble.

no Gera.....not good.

And Luke Moore....just do not think he can beat the quality of defenders he will be up against tbh.

Nevertheless they still do have some quality players on their roster, but time will tell whether or not they can hold it down.

They sure were sore about losing Gera to Fulham.

I speak to a few Yam Yams at work and down the pub, they live in a dream world, most believe that they will stay up easily and couple think they can finish between 7th-10th. They have a very weak defence and average players in midfield and up front, I think they will go straight back down with Hull and Stoke.:)

Unfortunately I think it'll be straight back down for all teams who came up this year. West Brom are the team who could stay up out of them all, I think, but 7th to 10th is a laugh.

'Ull aren't doing badly in the market.

Geovanni looks a decent signing.

Id say they have the best chance of the 3 if they get Campbell from Man Utd.

WBA have made a corker of a signing in Carson at 3.25m, they just need a decent striker and defense now.

Stoke need a miracle

Yeah, I though Ull were odds on to go down but they've made some good moves.

I enjoyed watching some of their games last season - Gera leaving is a loss.

They will be brought down to earth in the Premier League, though I think they will survive the drop. Fulham played some good attractive football whilst battling to stay up last season, but they are a regular Premier League side with a lot of experience and have a steady squad of players. WBA could find it a little more difficult, attractive football just isn't enough.

Looks like they are going to start the season off with out a sponser.
