I like your list, but some of these players I really don't see "fitting in" to the Premiership. Kaka, Pirlo, Lahm, Ronaldinho (espically Ronaldinho) and maybe even Messi, are players who can probably compete in the Premiership, but just couldn't do as well. But you never know, look at Fernando Torres. Came from a decent club in La Liga and fit right into the Premiership.

I'm really excited about young talents like Aguerro and Nasri (who is at Arsenal already), also I'd love to see Huntelaar and Villa.

Torres was completely different than other players that usually don't adapt. He had the physical attributes. If anything, the reason he exploded this last season was not because of the quality of players like Gerrard around him but rather the style and tempo of Spain didn't let him let loose his physical abilities.

Pirlo would never do well in England, and Zlatan is an overrated prick who doesn't score against strong competition. He scored a pretty goal in the Euros and Sergio Ramos made a terrible mistake and he's world class again.

Disagree, I think the whole certain players will never do well in certain countries is a load of bull personally. Players dont do well because of the systems teams play not the style of play.

The whole Torres didnt do as well because Spain doesnt play to his strengths is a bit weak. How did Owen do so well at Real Madrid then?
He got moved on but you couldnt fault his record. Its all about systems

I think Pirlo could do very well in Arsenals side for example.

Recent players who have failed have failed because of the systems or pressure of moves or are simply past it.

Forlan in my opinion wasnt ready for such a big move when he went to United.

Shevchenko would struggle in Italy now if he stayed with Milan, he just isnt as sharp as he used to be

Veron imo couldnt handle not being the main man in midfield, some of his good performances which were rare came when keane wasnt in the team. A very egotistical player.

The summer starts at the end of the season and ends at the end of August, and the winter one is the whole month of January, unless January ends on a Sunday, then it's pushed to Monday.

IIRC, the summer transfer window doesn't open until June 1. The hard date (vs. end of the season) is due to seasons ending on different dates in different countries.

I think this has been clarified but the summer transfer window is from June 1st to August 31st. The January transfer window is ecactly what it says on the tine.

Pirlo would never do well in England,

If Carrick and Alonso can do well, then Pirlo could too. He has the technique and finesse to succeed but he may find the pace difficult at first. In Italy and Europe he'd get a lot more time on the ball. In England he'd have Kevin Nolan or Robbie Savage snapping at his heels before he had time to think.

I'd love to see Robinho, Kaka, Lahm, that Russian striker Pavlyuchenko (spelling??), Silva, and Iniesta

Landon Donovan! Needs to get his ass out of LA, after this season, and look to play in either the Prem, or La Liga.

I'm being pedantic here but Nolan's an attacking midfielder and not very defensive.

I know. So is Alan Smith but he loves a tackle too. Nolan, alojng with the rest of Bolton, is a bit parttial to the sliding challenge, and when he does it, he's hardly Baresi-esque about his execution...............

If you're going to be pedantic then so will I.;)

Pirlo pretty much sits in front of the defence, so Nolan would be in the right area.

Shevchenko would struggle in an American soccer-learning camp about now.., not only in Italy !
I mean those camps where they teach soccer to the American kids !
