Can anyone lead me to a thread if it has been started but why has Edwin Miranda been called to the national team for el salvador, he played in MLS and is in USL division one with a fairly good team . if theyre calling up Alas in Division two i wouldnt see why they wouldnt give him a chance

Well Alas has been a part of the National team since he was about 16. He has had a lot of experience. He is very good but he made a stupid move by going to the USL2. He isn't a starter anyway. Miranda plays defense btw and right now are defense is all booked up. He really couldn't start over any of our 4.... Captain Alfredo Pacheco, Marvin Gonzalez, Anaya, Hernandez....i really doubt it. I wouldn't mind a call up. But idk DLC even knows the guy exists to be honest. lol

He plays midfield. I thought he was a defender, that makes it even harder to start. He would have to really be a good player to start over, Cheyo, Shawn, Jimenez, Sanchez, Castillo.
I wouldn't mind giving the guy a shot.....right now i would say no...but in the future.

i doubt he will have a shot, all we really need is a true number 9. if we can get somebody to put the ball in we're in business. i have some kind of hope that reyes would make a difference.
maybe in the future he will have a chance.

I want him in the seleccion. The guy is massive, he was to much for the mexicans, however the field was a disgrace the rain was way tooooooo much. But i want him in the selecta.

Edwin Miranda

nah dude he doesnt have any black in him, he is a moreno mestizo.
there is 3 kinds of prietos as we know in el salvador: moreno claro (me), prieto prieto = mayen meza, and el "negro" then we are talking any colocho which is mostly a moreno with black roots or mulato.
For the prietos they are known as "pardos."
Mulatos = Black/White (Tim Duncan)
Morenos (mestizo) = Spanish/Native (that would be me) although we do have arab africans and turkish mixes in San Miguel, Italians and french also in a lower scale.
Sambo = Black/Native (Im not sure who would be a good example)
Pardo = Black/Native/ White = Ronaldo, Ronaldinho.

San Miguel is a big city, along with Santa Ana and San Salvador.
Santa Ana was mostly Spanish, with the big hacendados en cafetaleros.
San Salvador is the capital with about 10% of the upper class with a turkish/italian/arab background.
One of San Miguel bigger founders was Dr. Miguel Felix Charlaix, the founder of Club Deportivo Aguila, a Franco-Spanish Salvadoreno, yes a lot of the middle class Miguelena has straight connection with French and Italian, Im talking of the cities not the pueblitos.
The first vecindades of San Miguel, La Belen, Santa Emilia, Ciudad Jardin, Barrio San Francisco, La Cury, La Merced where all Spanish-French oriented.
Dude Idk anything about Guatemala and I dont care, dont come here talking about stuff you dont know. You dont know here San Miguel is, you dont know who founded San Miguel, you dont know our history...
I had vecinos that were called "Los Turkos" why do you think they were called "turkos?"
I went to a Jewish privated school when I got ouf the ghetto, Colegio Amigos de Israel... who was owned by a Jews.
If you dont know El Salvador, you dont know San Miguel, shut the f.. up. Go there, and then you come back telling me who we are. I lived 16 years of my life in my country, in my city... now you know more about my city than me?

They dont have a big inpact in our gene pool , as do the dark spaniards from the old moorish empire. I wouldnt be surprised if some those north african people changes their names to spanish sur-names.
