LOL at Abidal. Way to go Raymond, great move putting him back in the lineup. Comical.

Then pulling Nasri instead of just dropping Makelele into the backline, despite being down a goal and needing a win.
Domenech continues to prove he's the Worst Manager Ever.

Last man.

Last man, ref had to issue the red.

Italy HAVE to score at least another.

Toni with the contortionist flick....almost

There's no such thing as "last man."

It's DOGSO (denying obvious goal scoring opportunity).

Somebody get Toni a Bayern shirt!!

If he had those chances in the Bundesliga, he'd have a hat trick already!

Toni is such a donkey.

Italia have the England problem of no killer up front like a Torres or Van Nistlerooy

I'm assuming NED/ROU results are okay to post in this thread, yes?

No news yet, but just want to be sure.

I can see the argument that it is a poor rule at times. If a penalty has been awarded you can argue that the team still has a goalscoring opportunity.

Someone needs to take the DOGSO out for a walk.

there is no need for it, all players should score a penalty, imho all DOGSO should be a penalty, be it inside or outside of box, but the player shouldnt be sent off.

Lets try this one on for size.

The linesman called offsides on the back pass when there appeared to be hand ball.

So if someone is on a breakaway and the defender tackles him American football style, or if the defender catches the ball going into the goal, there should be nothing more than a penalty given?

Close, but not close enough.

Jayzus what a calamity in the Italian defense, coughing up a free for no reason.

First the Zambrotta disaster... this better not turn into a goal
