Romania needs more passion and power in their play, they were barely trying for a team that is about to get eliminated. To be fair, Lobont and Mutu where the only players who actually cared. Mutu's expression everytime the ball flew over his head summed it up..garbage.

True, but I haven't seen too much improvement since Italy's game vs the Netherlands.

If you Italians really want to thank Holland, don't kick us out in the semifinal. ;)

I doubt it.....Netherlands is firing on all cylinders. They could be a force for years to come.

Not really, Van Basten is leaving and our next coach is probably not going to do too well.

Lets see how good Italy can perform against Spain without their main man Pirlo.

Knowing Donadoni, we're screwed. At this point, I'm happy to beat France. Whatever happens next doesn't matter to me.

I mean, I know that at 99,99999999999999999999% we won't beat Spain, right? But come on, let's show some trust for Donadoni... after all he prepared the game against france perfectly, and he made us go to the quarters... ah f**k forza Donadoni!

Hup Holland, Hup!

Agreed, classy move by Van Basten & Co. The scary thing is, as Derek Rae said, it was clear that the Netherlands "B" team had another gear (or two) in reserve. Total domination, we could walk the ball anywhere on the pitch we wanted.

An absolutely dismal performance by Romania, however. I can NOT for the life of me understand how a team in a life-or-death situation could play so lackluster??? There was absolutely NO sense of urgency. Look back at Huntelaar's first goal and the Romanian defender #4 (Tamas) just STOOD there. Didn't even MOVE.

In final view, despite Romania's "success" drawing France and Italy (thanks to a missed offisides call) they were clearly one of the worst - and most boring - teams in this Euro. I'm disappointed, I was hoping they'd progress somewhat and was certainly looking for more effort.

At least my Oranje are looking positively other-worldly :D
