1. Domenech - This tournament is proving what most of us already knew: Zidane took France to the Final in 06, not Domenech. If I were a French fan, I'd be burning the headquarters of the FFA for giving the job to a guy who picks the team based on Astrology.

2. Donadoni - Italians won't put up with not making it out of the group stage, and I don't think they will.

3- Spain - Luis Aragones to be replaced by Vicente del Bosque. It's agreed and signed and public long ago.

Ironic considering their sides are probably playing the best soccer in the tournament...but Van Basten is going to Ajax and Scolari is going to Chelsea.

Domenech is as good as gone. At least he should be, as some of the players he omitted from his squad would probably be useful right now.

Taking Gomis ahead of Trezeguet is inexcusable.

Aragonés is actually fired. He wasn't fired before the Euro because there was no time. But he was very offended and angry with the Spanish Federation declaring every kind of thing against this. In 2006 he said he would quit if Spain didn't reach the semi-finals in WC06, but later he didn't and the whole country was against him with pools of 80% voting for him to resign. After that, Spain did again a very poor qualifying and that's why Vicente del Bosque was chosen secretely but finally everyone knew including him.

If Domenech gets fired in mid-tournament, I wouldn't be surprised if France's play improved.

just wait until the "replace them with bruce arena" douche's arrive.

Domenech should be toast for that squad he picked.
I knew they would do badly when I saw the players he picked.
Even more amazingly the france fans in BS were happy with it.

I couldn't agree more. This guy is a moron as a coach. I don't know what was the FFF thinking when they signed this fellow. To leave Mexés and Trezeguet out of the Euro, and bring in Gomis and the living-corpse Thuram is completely insane.

France will do a miserable Euro and who can blame them? Domenech must've learned to coach in a cabaret of sorts.

Domenech reminds me a lot of Advocaat from the last EC in the sense of the criticism he's getting... trusting too much in the old guard, etc. but it's deserved he has certainly made a lot of mistakes. I always knew at least one of Van Basten, Donadoni or Domenech was going to go the minute I saw that group drawn. For those three sides, the quarterfinals is the bare minimum. I think Italy vs France will be a managerial showdown to see who looses their job and who keeps there's...... for the time being at least.

And on the topic on who will be fired:
1. Domenech, for sure
2. Donadoni, if he loses the game to France or the first round
3. Karel Bruckner, of the Czech Republic, if they don't advance to the next round, probably should be fired.

At least Cabaret can be entertaining; the French certainly haven't been.
