Deco signing would in no way ever be funny.

Robben...ahhhh.

Could rival the step over kid for best player in the world if he could ever play three matches in a row.

Beautiful dive Gomis.

I give you a 9.5 for that.

How do you do that if your France??

I can see losing some focus (alotugh its unnacceptable, no matter how often it happens) after a goal if yuo go ahead or equalize, but some one, that goal just put them down one, nothing to really celebrate, bad pla by the French

wow...Not literally:DStill think it was an awful decision to let him go. He'd do way more in the 20 games he's fit than Malouda will do in his career. I know he wanted out in the end, but the series of events leading up to that were down to Jose and Kenyon.

I like how Gray gets confused between Gallas and Maka, one number off, and could be brothers....

He reminded me so much of Robson when he was playing, fantastic player, great skill and a sheer terror on the pitch, always...always....making something happen when he played.

The problem, besides the continual injuries, which were never ending with him as well, was the lack of a replacement when he was out injured and the dip, however slight, in the teams compeditive edge.

Leaving aside the fact that Malouda is a complete and utter joke on the football field, at least we went after a left sided player that didn't have a cronic injury history.
We never would have done that if Robben had stayed, we'd just have continued to muddle along and made do without him, waiting for his return...only to see him go out again just two games later.

It effectively meant we did without a creative left footed player in midfield for most of the season, which whilst not a requirement for success, it resulted in a season like we just had, of being the nearly men.

Robben has been oh so dangerous tonight. Compare that with Malouda's performance.
