lobont, van der sar, buffon, demirel, ankifeev were the best golies in the first round
you lose all credibility when you name those keepers as the best of the first round and yet exclude Boruc.

i forgot boruc, but i think its because i watch more the group C , boruc had a sensational game with austria.....
but i think that lobont and buffon were still better than him

yes, possibly.
i'm not suggesting that Boruc was the best keeper in the 1st round. only stating that if a list of the best keepers of the 1st round was made then he deserves to be mentioned in it.

well in that case i think that boruc should be included
casillas only played two games, and spain didnt suffered attacks from russia and sweden
still the best goalie in the first round was lobont!

:D
you mentioned in your first post, Volkan Demirel. if not for his moment of madness against Koller he'd be a shoe-in for best keeper of the first round.

i revieewd my posts, and i havent selected demirel as the best goalie in the first stage.... is that why you put the :D? well .......
i liked all those goalkeepers, and i think that lobont had a great euro....
i think that demirel has a brilliant future, he is onyl 25-26 can play for the next 10 years... no doubt about it

didn't mean to confuse you.
you mentioned him as one of the best in that round, which i agreed with as his red card blew up his tournament.

true....
but this euro was a good one, i havent seen an european tournament since 2000, i didnt get the chance to see the 2004 edition, only highlights, and some goals found on the internet......
i liked this euro a lot......... and i think that those goalies did a good job
