Nice goal.

Maybe the wall should've been positioned a little to the left LOL

Jiminny Christmas .. could that thing be hit any straighter?

I don't think it wavered an inch side to side. Rising, yes, but that thing was on a rope.

He absolutely hammered it. I don't think I've ever seen a free-kick goal with less curve or bend. It was perfect.

Well Gomez is finally out - but now I feel pity for him :( Poor lad just can't fit in.

Harnick is so wasteful!

That's why he plays mostly with the amateurs at Bremen.

So, I'm no great fan of Germany (although I really, really enjoyed their play in '06).

I'm also no fan of Portugal as I think Deco, Queresma and Ronaldo are extremely gravitationally challenged. But they have been infinitely more impressive this tourney.

That said, if this German side beats that Portuguese side -- it would be hilarious.

That really should have been a goal. The linesman was being fussy.

Linesmen have been attrocious this entire tournament.

The number of wrong calls must be close to double digits soon.

A 1-1 tie still puts Germany through, yes?
