Great news - we now have a decent chance against Portugal since the man that determines all things football has clearly declared us the underdog for the next match. *sigh* I feel better already!!
Yes, sarcasm is the key ingredient to this post.
Talk all the shit you want about Franz, but he was 100% correct.

Er, calm down there, bro. I don't see where I am talking shit or stating that Franz is in anyway incorrect...
My sarcasm comes to play when I said we now have a "decent" chance...Germany always does better as the underdog. You know that!

You know, I find it hilarious how I can send a message that maybe 50 other people would send at BigSoccer and the reply from you guys always begins with "calm down" or "easy man."
If I were "mad" or "angry" you'd know by other words that would be typed.
Just because I said I think you're taking shit about Franz doesn't mean I need to calm down. I simply told you what I thought.
Maybe I use "harder" words than you to express myself, but that doesn't mean I'm sitting here angry because you made light of something Beckenbauer said.
And what I thought was you "talking shit about Franz" was this:
"Great news - we now have a decent chance against Portugal since the man that determines all things football has clearly declared us the underdog for the next match. *sigh* I feel better already!!
Whether you agree with him or not and even more because you meant it sarcastically, where I'm from, calling him "the man that determines all things football" is "talking shit."
Franz also said that if they don't get their shit together by Thursday, their next match will be their last at this tournament........
Let's see what happens. Either they get their shit together or they come home.
We didn't need "the man who determines all things football" to tell us that either.

If my German is right, according to this "kicker" article, (http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/em/startseite/artikel/379858/) Torsten Frings suffered a broken rib during the Austria match and is doubtful against Portugal.
A person can take that one of two ways. Another nail in Germany's coffin or another reason for the rest to rise up and do the unexpected.

Problem is, that's true for almost the entire team...:o

I still think Frings would be better out there than any other options we might have to replace him. He has the right combination of grit, determination ability and is the type of player we would need against a side like Portugal. I think it'll be a big loss if we don't have him available on Thursday, a costly one at that.
