But this is with leaving out Sneijder, and playing Robinho in a funny SS position.
Assuming Robinho leaves in the next couple years, you can play a 4-3-3 with Gago, Fabregas? & Sneijder in the middle with the other 3 upfront. All this ofcourse assuming we get Fabregas in a couple years time also. Seems like a good team, but one that will win the CL 68 times in a row, I dont know.. Unless you know something we dont about us being able to play with a extraman like in your formation :)

There are many options for the other CM position: Javi Martinez (Bilbao), De Rossi (Roma), van der Vaart (HSV) etc

I dont know about Robben... Sure, he plays great sometimes, but too often he just dribbles as fast as he can to the endline only to do nothing with it. Wouldnt be surprised to see him riding pine.

Yeah, the scaremongering of the no side was ridiculous (google 'Libertas' if you haven't heard ofthem already), but the yes side were admittedly very un-forthcoming in their answers and skirted a lot of issues which hardly helped. I reckon the downturn in the economy swung a good 8-10% of the vote - had it bee na year ago, it probably would have passed.
