i was just thinking about this, in light of Sundays game. I'm still on that euphoria high. Also considering that Argentina will play Brazil in a couple of days, I'm in the soccer zone.

I've been reading the metrofanatic boards, these past couple of hours, and they are beating each other up over the USA support. How it should be done. Whether or not the ESC was the one that brought the noise or not. Who really was doing the singing? Etc Etc?
One thing I'll never understand is the ridiculous fighting. It just makes no sense to me.

I understood how a lot of those guys felt. It was fecking sweltering ...but a lot of us were going nuts the whole time. But some in the section just stood there, arms folded. It was frustrating , for sure. But overall it was a great section. But I hear ya Cosmos

It's the curse of the american soccer fan, though hopefully not forever.

I would assume that we are all down for the same cause. If I stop signing for a second I would hope that I'm not going to get called out for it. Because in the end its the overall effect of the support that we give as a group that matters.

I agree, and the only way for that to happen, is to bring people to these games. And get them hooked.

They seem like good guys. Every USA fan I saw was having a great time at the game. I really hope that ESC grows and Red Bull is a success because that helps up big time.

Yeah I came away from Sunday with the same impression. But from reading the boards I'm just completely confused now.

ha - so dont read the boards dude!! Let them do their thing - we have ours to do!! The City Hall thing is something we have to start building on as a group now - we shouldn't worry about them, or any group for that matter.
