Yeah so Holland looked great against Italy, now watch us get pwned by France.
Keeping with typical Dutch tradition

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.. but I'm looking forward to this game: Robben might be fit, looks like Viera and Henry are available, Van Persie and Affelay looked good against Italy. This is going to be good ! The outcome of Romania-Italy might have a big impact on this one too! Especially if Romania wins (anything can happen in this group)

I'm just hoping the dutch force some decent play out of the french -- that FRA/ROM match was simply dreadful.

Gallas didn't appreciate Domenech's orders.
"We played with a hand brake on, and it's a shame" Gallas said, adding that — before every match — France has orders not to concede goals above all else.
"We need points, we have to win, so we need to take more risks" Gallas said. "Against the Netherlands we will try and accelerate the play more and create chances. We know it won't be easy."
"Maybe we should try and change our style of play and play quicker to destabilize our opponents" Gallas said. "More movement, asking for the ball more. We saw yesterday (Monday), (that) something was not right."

I'm going for a 1-1 here, with France losing the third game, Holland and Italy winning the group phase and Italy kicking Holland out later.

Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira suggested they would be fit to play for France against Netherlands at Euro 2008 on Friday.

hee hee :D
But I hope we will meet in the final to remember the 70s, non?
Unless france get their act together Holland have a VERY good chance. Italy are the team I am most confident of their advancement.

So stupid Domenech won't bring Evra for Abidal?

I had more of the late 80's in mind ;)

Robben fit again, but I don't think he will start against France.
As last time, we'll probably get the final 11 late afternoon tomorrow.

I'm not feeling confident about this one, despite our last game.
Italy did have a few chances, and it was surpising that none went in. I think the French will score if they get the same chances as Italy. Then again, VDS is in great form.
France just has to come out and play, they have no choice. We don't really have to, but imo we shouldn't aim for a draw, we just aren't the team for it. A win should see us in the next round, so we should try to.
I think it's all down to which team can outscore the other.
Can't wait.

From what I gather from several Swiss and Dutch media, pretty crazy scenes in Bern. The city is flooded with Orange everywhere. Police report (according to Blick IIRC) that a staggering 100.000 fans from the NL may be expected. The amount of Orange on the streets has been quickly rising since this morning.

I agree - the team with the most goals will DEFINITELY win this one. Hahah - had to call you on that one.
I'll be shocked if Domenech doesn't bring in Evra for Abidal. He says he was considering tinkering with four positions - I'm assuming he's talking about Anelka, Toulalan, Malouda and Abidal or Sagnol. I think this game will look entirely different from our awful, painful-to-watch Romania match. The Dutch aren't as preoccupied with defense so I'm looking forward to a free-flowing, open game. Can't wait!! Allez Les Bleus - Tous ensemble

LoL. I just knew this was coming. ;)
Let me clarify, what I meant with that line was a crazy scoring game, like a 4-3 score instead of one or both teams rather playing not to lose. Just like you said at the last part of your post, a free flowing attacking game from both teams.
