"City" - I think that we need to get away from this. This is just as bad as say Celtic FC NY, Boca NY, or Barca NY. While it's more subtle its still alluding to something EPL. It would kill me to see that happen all over the league. It's bad enough that we have DC UNITED and Real Salt Lake. Who are we kidding? Seriously? Why dont we just stop all the English people in the street whip their dicks out and proceed to give them head.

When did we as a nation all of a sudden start looking at other places for the lead? Are we that weak, mentally, spiritually and emotionally that we can't come up with an original name? Hell even NYC SKYSCRAPERS is starting to sound really good right about now!

Sorry for the rant. There's more but I'm done for now. :(

but also not to mention that if youlook on a map, its called "New York City". the city is labled as "New York". So haveing "City" in the name is kind of mandatory if your playing in "New York City".

although I would understand your point if the team was in Albany. "Albany City" would be sucking euro dick. But "City" is in the name of the city.

to be honest as a terrace song, i understand the idea behnd making it significant to new york, but to be honest i dont think that most of them cut it (New York, New York, and NY State of mind).
One song that has always caught my attention and isnt popular (only used by one club which i dont like) is "Blue Moon".

although my favourite is forever blowing bubbles. but i know that will never fly.

Good stuff man. I agree that we should use as many NYC and original songs as possible. Too much of the same stuff is being used by teams.
