Canadian TV showed the replay in slow-mo and Toni was more than a foot offside.

Man of the Match were the two keepers. Without them the score might've been a lot different.

You obviously don't know the rule. Go learn something.

Canadian TV showed the replay in slow-mo and Toni was more than a foot offside.

That's funny. German TV shows him even with the defender. And the Germans have no love for the Italians.

Did Canadian TV go to the room in Toronto? ;)

Come on, the "offside" goal was a very close call. That can happen. What are the Austrians supposed to say who really got robbed in the game against Poland? Does the UEFA want them out as well?

And the last minutes didn't help the perceived Italian image as being a bunch of cheaters. All those dives in the penalty area really were a disgrace.

THis is definitely not the place for conspiracy theories.
You're right and I'm sorry... maybe I just love soccer too much.

Anyway, the Toni goal wasn't absolutely offside, and I don't care if in a "slow motion" of a canadian tv you can see Camoranesi offside.

Because:
- I don't think Camoranesi was offside. Nobody was... neither Perrotta
- Al the people that aren't called "Toni" can be 3432543254325 miles after the back line if the one who hit the ball and score is called Toni

that was well after the ball left Zambrotta's foot...you'd better recheck your understanding of the offside rule...

Well, it was at the moment it was kicked, and I know what I saw.

But I refuse to debate with fans, it's pointless.

You shouldn't. Especially when you're dead wrong.

And I didn't care who won the match.

Translation: I'm wrong so I better duck out of this argument before I really look stupid.

I may be wrong, big deal.

For the record, I think the second Dutch goal against Italy should not have been allowed.

Italy Offside call:

http://www.d1g.com/video/show/2047828

There is a player that is very close to being in an offside position, but it is not Toni; Toni is clearly onside.

Didn't Mutu get the Romanian's goal still? Save the Dramatics Please!

He should have shot, uppershelf in hindsight, but it's over and it should not bother the lad.

Romania should be able to determine their fate. Let it not take away from a fine performance.
