I think that Argentina game showed that he does not deserve to be comfortable in regards to starting. (to put it lightly) So does his club form made him deserve a start? And is he going to be great once he finds his grove? or does he deserve to be the person not starting and fighting for a spot? I think its the latter. Discuss...

Good, young player. However, just like the other young guys in the pool like Edu, Altidore and Adu, he has some learning to do. His performances for the US have paled in comparison to his club form, and have been extremely erratic. He's a long term prospect who shouldn't be starting every game for the US. He simply hasn't played any better than either Adu or Edu in their relative times on the field for the US, yet has more time than both of them combined.
