Yep starting my first thread. I want to have some pints before the match, but without having to drive far. For the the DFW home game I went to Gumbo's and the bartender sucked (was drinking whisky that day) and the next match I just had some brews in the parking lot befoe heading inside (i cannot confirm or deny that statement). I think me and a buddy would like to enjoy some adult drink (beer and alcohol) prior to the game. You guys have suggestions and if so will you be there?

Also just received an email from Jonno and noted he will be at Dragon Stadium on Tuesday in the Liverpool pinks.

Yep. He mentioned that over in the Austin vs. Atlanta thread (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=701288);)

mgrayscale told me that he was going to go to the Tilted Kilt (http://www.tiltedkilt.com/round_rock/round_rock.html) ... probably a couple times tomorrow. Once to watch one of the Euro Cup games, then stopping by there before going to Dragon.

Tempted to say "I want his job!" ... but not knowing what he does, that leaves all sorts of unpleasant things open.

Actually, I'll be at Plucker's in RR for the Spain v. Russia Euro match, so come on down.

As far as pre game pints, I'm all for Tilted Kilt. Not because of the staff, although they are very nice (service, not the uniform), but it's close to the stadium. Although Sherlock's is the official sponsor, it's a pain to drive from RR to North Austin back to RR. I'll be there about 5:30 in an Aztex shirt, so come on down.
