I felt that the Poland goal was more clearly offside than the van Nistelrooy goal would have been even if defender beyond the endline had not been considered. Very bad decision, but I guess it was counterbalanced by a somewhat soft PK call at the end.

I've said it once I'll say it again... the host nations have had NO LUCK in this tournament. Plain and simple. Usually host teams get all sorts of breaks but not this time. Austria have been undone by a penalty and an offside goal, while not getting any penalty calls their way... and also missing a plethora of chances that my grandmum could have put away.

LOL! What did I say? Fitting end to the game.. two controversial goals so neither side can really complain in the end. Both teams missed loads of chances. Poland virtually out - must win by a large margin and hope Austria win too against Germany. Croatia I guess have guaranteed top spot so they may rest key players for that match so Poland may get their first Euro win in a couple of day. I wouldn't put it past them.

It was a weak penalty kick he barely touched his shirt he dived really weak. Also the rekick Austria was the one who started it and they get the rekick. Undeserving Austria at first were good, but like it was nothing after that.

No, I 'have the nerve' to be pissed at how so many of these contrived games are decided by the puppeteer refs. I'm shocked that you have no problem with it since you're precious Germany is basically a shoe-in now.
